Oops…

After a huge drop in weight yesterday I was not terribly upset that I gained .2 lb. this morning. I did not eat great but I did not eat terribly… but I did eat dinner at 8:30pm, and I shared a bottle of wine with my wife after that. I regret nothing.

Today has been a pretty good day so far. Leslie and I will decide shortly what to do for dinner, but I think the day has been a success. We’ll see tomorrow morning when I step onto the bathroom scale.

My out-of-control eating continues, and I know I need to rein it in. Crap, I have to get my discipline back! As soon as I am back from Dallas I am going to spend two weeks on my intense program to reset.

I had a great day yesterday, if you do not factor my eating into account. I was initiated into a brotherhood that I have been working toward for a few months, and it was exciting. I did not know what to expect from the evening. It was incredible… but I was nervous-eating all day, and I drank after the meeting (with some of my new brothers), and the bottom line is that I weighed more this morning than I did yesterday. Grrr.

As I expected and feared, my weight jumped again this morning. I will pay more attention to my eating on those teaching days, lest I never get back on track. Now I have to fight to drop back below 280 again.

I was not happy when I stepped onto the scale this morning and realized that I gained 1.8 lbs. from yesterday. I was also not surprised. I went a little wild last night, and I cannot do that and expect to not gain weight. I am not sure I am doing better today, only because I ate a late lunch, and so I am now preparing my dinner for the end of my class. I should not be eating at 9:00p… but here we are. I will remember to plan better for the rest of my classes.

I only realized this morning that next week will be ‘one of those…’ a week that I am teaching a class during the day, and then from 6-9pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I am glad to see that there is a clear light at the end of that tunnel, as Saturday morning I will be getting onto a plane to see someone I have not seen in far too long; actually, there are two people I have not seen in far too long,.. it should be quite a trip!

Lyle it coming over tomorrow during the day for cigars. Actually, we are meeting at Costco, and then we will come back here. It is always great to see him.

My weight stayed put this morning. At least it did not go up. It was a harrowing night last night – we had a too-close encounter with Pepe le Peu and just escaped unscathed… Her Floofness still got a bath (which she did not enjoy) and we got to bed… my heart racing all night because of it.
